Robert Shapiro's personal fight to keep kids off drugs and alcohol

We all know about Robert Shapiro, the attorney, but this morning, he was here as Robert Shapiro, the father.

His oldest son Brent was going to USC and planned to go to law school. He had problems with drugs and alcohol since his early teens and was in and out of rehab...but had been sober while going to school.

About a month before his 25th birthday, Brent had a few drinks, took ecstasy, got sick and died.

Robert and his wife Linell want to help others battling the same demons that their son was...and therefore started the Brent Shapiro Foundation.

The Brent Shapiro Foundation and Brent’s Club are programs to keep kids off drugs and alcohol.
