Ta'Rhonda Jones slices and dices on 'Masterchef Celebrity Showdown'

A native of Chicago’s South Side, Jones is one of eight siblings. Her passion for music developed at a young age. Her brother, rapper Tim Streetz, played a vital role in her love of music. Eventually, this love blossomed into a rap career, putting her in the studio at age 17.

Jones continues to rap under the moniker Lady Heroin. Her creative talents extend far outside of the music industry. Taking an interest in fashion design at a young age, she continues to make and sell her own clothing.

She currently resides in her hometown of Chicago.

Get ready for the ultimate snack-down when award-winning judge Gordon Ramsay and renowned pastry chef Christina Tosi invite celebrities into the Masterchef kitchen to battle it out against each other for charity. The two-hour special tests the culinary skills of the celebrity competitors, and also pits previous Masterchef winners against some of Masterchef Junior’s Season Four contestants, as they compete in culinary showdowns to win a cash prize for the charities of their choice.

Celebrity Competitors Include Supermodels Gigi Hadid and Devon Windsor; Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Terry Crews and wife, Rebecca Crews; The Last Man On Earth’s Boris Kodjoe and wife, Nicole Ari Parker; and Empire’s Kaitlin Doubleday and Ta’Rhonda Jones; as well as Masterchef Winners Luca Manfe, Christine Ha and Claudia Sandoval; and Masterchef Junior Season Four Contestants Addison, Amaya and Zac.
