Keep it Clean® a Live Comedy Benefit for Waterkeeper Alliance returns to the Avalon Hollywood on April 21, 2016. This second annual hilarious night of star-studded comedy will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, with live performances and appearances by Zach Galifianakis, Rachael Harris, Slink Johnson, Nick Kroll, Tig Notaro, Ray Romano, JB Smoove, Wanda Sykes, Kate Walsh and more – all to raise critical funds and awareness in Waterkeeper’s global fight for clean water. Keep it Clean® will also feature special remarks by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., president of Waterkeeper Alliance, and guests will have the opportunity to check out the Toyota Mirai, the official vehicle of Keep it Clean®.
With pure water as its only emission, the Toyota Mirai uses hydrogen and oxygen to create electricity to power the all-electric engine; and with a range of over 300 miles per tank and a refueling time of under five minutes, Mirai was recently declared winner of the 2016 World Green Car Award at the New York International Auto Show.
Proceeds from Keep it Clean® will advance the fight for clean water worldwide, led by Waterkeeper Alliance since 1999. This global movement unites more than 280 Waterkeeper organizations around the world (including Los Angeles Waterkeeper!) to defend local rivers, bays, streams and coastlines from pollution as they fight for every community's right to swimmable, drinkable, fishable water.
