Melissa Peterman on Sing-A-Long Sound of Music: 'Favorite night of the year'

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - If you love "The Sound of Music," you can sing along with host Melissa Peterman and thousands of other fans this Friday at the Hollywood Bowl.

The actress and comedian stopped by Good Day LA to discuss the event, which she has hosted for 12 years. She is also known for her role as Barbra Jean in the comedy series "Reba."

"This movie brings everyone together, and that's what we need right now," she said. "I think it's going to be a fabulous evening."

Her favorite song? "Edelweiss."
