Uzo Aduba talks Emmy nomination for 'Orange Is The New Black'

Actress Uzo Aduba currently stars as Suzanne 'Crazy Eyes' Warren in the critically acclaimed Netflix Original Series 'Orange Is The New Black'. 

Daniel Feinberg from Hitfix said of her performance '...the character took a permanent place as an audience favorite, delivering one priceless and revelatory moment after another.' For her role, Aduba was nominated for a 2015 Emmy Award in a category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. For her performance, she also won the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards for 'Outstanding Actress in a Comedy' and was a part of OINTB’s win for Best Ensemble in a Comedy. Additionally, won the 2014 Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy and the 2014 Broadcast Television Journalists Association Award for Best Guest Performer in a Comedy. 

With her SAG and Emmy honors, Uzo became the first African American actress to win the award in each category. She was also nominated for the 2015 Golden Globe Award for 'Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Series, Mini-Series, or TV Movie.' OITNB won the 2014 BTJA Award for Best Comedy, the 2014 People's Choice Award for Favorite Streaming Series, the 2013 AFI Award for TV Program of the Year and was named one of the National Board of Review's 10 Best TV Programs of 2014. 

The series second season premiered on June 6, 2014 and will return for a 3rd season on Netflix in 2015.
