(FOX 11) - Halloween is a fun holiday, but the cost of everything from candy to costumes to parties can add up.
Nicole Lapin came on Good Day LA to talk about how much the holiday is costing us.
The National Retail Federation estimates people will spend $8.4 billion on Halloween this year, which is the highest in the survey's 11-year history.
People in the U.S. are expected to spend an average of $82.93 each, which is up from $74.34 last year.
More than 171 million Americans are planning to partake in Halloween festivities this year.
