Director of 'He Made Me Malala' shares story about Pakistan family, culture

- Davis Guggenheim is a film director and producer and talked about the film he directed, “He Made Me Malala,” which is a story about a young Pakistani female activist Malala Yousafzai, who was targeted by Taliban gunmen, shot in the head and left wounded.

Davis says, “She is an ordinary girl who became extraordinary because she made a very brave choice to fight the thing most precious to her – her schools.  That’s what made her so great. I want my daughters to feel like if Malala can do it, they can do it, too.”

Guggenheim says it’s important for us in America to understand this culture that we don’t know very well.
