David Mazouz faces the rise of the villains in 'Gotham'

David Mazouz is the boy who will become Batman in ‘Gotham’, which is coming back for its second season next month. A peek at the season premiere details Bruce Wayne asking detective Jim Gordon why he won't do a bad thing for the greater good.

Mazouz started his career in commercials opposite of Kiefer Sutherland at age eight. In 2012, Mazouz landed the role of mute Jacob "Jake" Bohm in the TV series Touch. Mazouz has acted in several television series including Mike & Molly, The Office, and Criminal Minds. Mazouz also appeared in the ABC show Private Practice as the adopted brother of Betsy.

In 2014, Mazouz landed his biggest role to date as Bruce Wayne in Fox's TV series Gotham.

In 2015, he has a starring role in 6 Miranda Drive as Michael Taylor. Mazouz was cast in the 2015 film, Incarnate.

The second season of 'Gotham' premieres September 21st on FOX.
