LOS ANGELES, CA (FOX 11) - Robert Crais’ 17th Elvis Cole and Joe Pike novel, called “The Wanted,” and he joined us on Good Day LA on its launch day.
Crais says that one of the things that are most important to us is that our children are safe. So, in this book, Devon Connor is a single mother working to make ends meet. She has a teenage son who’s had some problems. One day, she walks into his bedroom with expensive clothing and jewelry and she asks him where he got the stuff, and now she’s terrified he got himself involved in something dangerous. She thought she knew him, but she doesn’t, so she goes to a detective to put their life on the line to save her son.
On getting into writing, Crais says, “I started submitting short stories when I was in junior high school (and getting rejections), but I just love telling stories. I write to entertain. All writers are readers first. I love these things and I wanted to tell my own story, and that’s what I try to deliver in the books.”
This is Crais’ 21st book. You can read more about this book on his website. You can find Robert on Facebook as well.
