Andre Royo is bending the law on 'Empire'

Andre Royo is best known for his iconic role as ‘Bubbles’ on the HBO series, ‘The Wire’.

Now he's joined the cast of ’Empire’ as 'Thirsty Rawlings', a lawyer who works for Terrence Howard's character, Lucious, and that sometimes means butting heads with the rest of the family.

(Series premieres September 4th) The series, directed by Monsters Ball and World War Z's Marc Forster, is about a corrupt Judge (played by Golden Globe winner Ron Perlman) who thinks he hears God after the death of his son.

Royo has also played many other diverse, interesting characters, such as cabdriver ‘Henry Arliss Higgins’ on Fox’s “Fringe” and recently recurring as suburbanite ‘Barry’ on the Showtime series “Happyish.”
