Actress Judy Greer from FX's "Archer"

Judy Greer’s career in both film and television has been prolific, as she has appeared in over 80 roles to date. She recently starred in the FX comedy series Married opposite Nat Faxon, and wrote her first book I Don’t Know Where You Know Me From, which hit bookshelves last year.

2015 was a landmark summer for Greer having roles in Universal’s Jurassic World, Marvel’s Ant-Man, Disney’s Tomorrowland and Warner Bros.’ Entourage. She also starred in independent features Addicted to Fresno for Jamie Babbit and Grandma with Lily Tomlin. Greer also recently made her Broadway debut opposite Katie Holmes in Dead Accounts.

Currently, Greer is reprising her role in FOX’s War for the Planet of the Apes for director Matt Reeves, working in motion-capture opposite Andy Serkis. She recently wrapped Fox Searchlight’s Wilson with Woody Harrelson, Measure of a Man with Luke Wilson and Donald Sutherland, as well as Katie Holmes’ directorial debut All We Had. She continues to voice the role of “Cheryl/Carol” on FX’s award-winning animated series Archer, now in its seventh season. Greer is also set to star in the indie feature Pottersville opposite Michael Shannon and Ian McShane.

This year, Greer will make her feature film directorial debut with A Happening of Monumental Proportions starring Common, Allison Janney and Jennifer Garner.

Other recent film works include MGM’s update of Brian DePalma’s classic Carrie, in which she appears alongside Julianne Moore and Chloe Grace Moretz for director Kimberly Peirce, Fox Searchlight’s Academy Award®-winning The Descendents, directed by Alexander Payne and starring George Clooney, as well as Jay and Mark Duplass’ Jeff Who Lives at Home, in which she starred opposite Ed Helms and Jason Segel.

Also, Robbie Fox’s dramedy Playing the Field, Barry Blaustein’s Peep World, Magnolia Pictures’ Barry Munday and Ed Zwick’s Love and Other Drugs, in which she appeared opposite Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal. This is only a small sample of Greer’s extensive film work – hence the title of her book.

Greer is no stranger to the small screen either, having appeared in a multi-episode arc on Two and a Half Men and a recurring role as “Kitty Sanchez,” George Bluth’s (Jeffrey Tambor) assistant/girlfriend in the cult classic Arrested Development. She was also a featured guest star on Masters of Sex opposite Michael Sheen, Lizzy Caplan and Josh Charles. Her additional television credits include the ABC comedy Miss Guided as well as CBS’s Mad Love opposite Sarah Chalke and Tyler Labine, along with guest appearances on Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Californication, just to name a few.

Greer was born and raised in Detroit. She studied acting at The Theatre School, DePaul University's prestigious theatre conservatory program. Greer currently resides in Los Angeles.
