Believe it or not, there are some people who will not be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday February 7th. They might be watching another bowl game, though – ‘Kitten Bowl 3’, hosted by Beth Stern.
“Kitten Bowl III” is a feline catstravaganza presented in association with North Shore Animal League America (the nation’s largest no-kill shelter and animal adoption organization) and Last Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation.
Hosted by Beth Stern, TV personality, author and national spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America, “Kitten Bowl III” is a star-studded lineup that includes legendary New York Yankees radio voice John Sterling and award-winning reporter, sports analyst and commentator Mary Carillo as “Kitten Bowl’s” official play-by-play announcer, and Boomer Esiason as the Feline Football League’s (FFL) Commissioner.
Beth Stern’s love for animals is her passion in life. Yoda: A Cat and His Kittens (2014) and Oh My Dog (2010) were both New York Times bestsellers. She is a proud foster parent and spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America. In addition to her animal rights activism, Beth is an on-air tv personality who has hosted shows for National Geographic, HGTV, Spike TV and Hallmark Channel’s annual Kitten Bowl and Hero Dog Awards. Beth lives with her husband Howard and their 6 rescue cats, Apple, Walter, Leon Bear, Charlie, Bella, and Yoda.
‘Kitten Bowl 3’ starts at noon, Super Bowl Sunday February 7th, on the Hallmark Channel.
