Sterling K. Brown: 'The People vs. OJ Simpson' and 'Father Comes Home From The Wars'

STERLING K. BROWN (Hero/Ulysses) Veteran stage and screen actor Sterling K. Brown is most widely recognized for his portrayal of Dr. Roland Burton in the critically acclaimed Lifetime series Army Wives. Brown currently stars as prosecutor Christopher Darden in FX’s highly-rated television event series The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. In March, Brown will co-star with Tiny Fey in her feature film Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. He is currently in production on Dan Fogelman’s untitled NBC project alongside Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia, and recently completed production on M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming film, Split. His performance has been praised as “riveting” by Deadline.com. In March, Brown co-starred alongside Tiny Fey in her feature film WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT. He is currently in production on Dan Fogelman’s untitled NBC project alongside Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia, and recently completed production on M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming film, SPLIT.

 A lover of theater, Brown has performed in a variety of staged shows, including the off-Broadway FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS: PART I, II & III, for which he will reprise his role this spring at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Additional stage credits include MACBETH, THE BROTHER/SISTER PLAYS and THE RESISTABLE RISE OF ARTURO UI opposite Al Pacino.

For seven years, Brown portrayed Dr. Roland Burton in the critically acclaimed Lifetime series ARMY WIVES.

Brown graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from Stanford University, before receiving his Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
