Magic Castle celebrates 'Founder's Day 55th Anniversary'

One word to describe Hollywood would be "magical", and maybe besides the film factor it's because The Magic Castle is still going strong after 55 years! 55 years ago today in 1963, The Magic Castle opened its doors for the first time.

Founded by Milt Larsen and his late brother Bill Larsen, Jr. along with Bill's late wife Irene Larsen the family that sticks together does tricks together!!

Today's Founders Day celebration was complete with an official ceremony and a proclamation declaring it "Magic Castle Day", a good time was had by all! Magicians, members, media, and Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Mayor Garcetti shared his love for magic and what his favorite tricks are with me, and I also asked Erika Larsen (daughter of Irene and Bill Larsen, Jr.) what the most magical thing about The Magic Castle is?

Do YOU believe in magic?
