Social workers seek adoptive home for a teen named Michael in foster care

- Michael (2002) is a bright and personable young man. He told his social worker that he’s interested in the automotive industry and wanted to work with vintage cars in particular. A visit to the exclusive Mercedes Benz Classic Center in Irvine, CA was just the ticket.

Michael learned about the engineering that goes behind cars and the etiology that is the signature history and innovation of the Mercedes Benz brand. Michael is in high school and focused on graduating on time. After today’s visit, Michael was more intent on becoming an automotive engineer, perhaps from a design perspective.

Michael thrives on positive attention and being in the company of friends.  In addition to cars, some of Michael’s hobbies include playing video games and listening to music. With a creative spirit, Michael is also open to exploring new adventures. Michael’s hope for a forever family is quite simple – someone who is accepting, encouraging and patient.

If you have a special heart for Michael or other older children in foster care and would consider being that anchor to provide support, guidance and nurturance, but most important of all, a permanent family, tune in to Wednesday’s Child and then call to learn more about adoption at 1-866-921-ADOPT (2367).
