Ethan and Marisa Wayne: 'The John Wayne Way To Grill'

We've got Ethan and Marisa Wayne, the children of the legendary John Wayne...they have a new book , 'The John Wayne Way To Grill' Here are some recipes!!

Whiskey butter:
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp. whiskey
  • 1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
Western Sausage ‘n' Veggie Kebabs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 11/2 lb. sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 zucchini, cut into 1-inch pieces
  1. Heat grill to medium.
  2. In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Add the sausage and vegetables; toss to coat. Drain marinade.
  3. Thread veggies and sausage onto skewers. Put kebabs on the grill, flipping once, for about 15 minutes or until done to your liking.
