In 2009, she was the first woman to coach a professional team, the Broxton Rox. In 2007, she was the only woman collegiate baseball coach in America.
She has created America's first national girls baseball tournament with the International Women's Baseball Center, to be held in Orlando, Florida May 30th – June 4th, 2015. Justine educates the public about the importance of providing equal opportunities for girls. She provides resources for girls who have been told that they are not allowed to try out for a school team.
She created the non-profit organization Baseball For All. Baseball For All is the voice and hub of girls and baseball. Baseball for All fosters, empowers, encourages and provides opportunities for girls to participate in baseball.
This historic event will bring together the past, the present and promote the future of girl's baseball with the added participation of members of the original 1942 All American Girls Professional Baseball League as well as other female baseball pioneers.
By stepping up to the plate, players and participants will leave with a sense of pride, dignity and accomplishment for having participated, becoming a part of history, and encouraging others to play and support girl's baseball.
Baseball For All is working together with the International Women's Baseball Center to share the history of women in baseball at our tournament. IWBC's mission is to protect, preserve and promote all aspects of women's baseball, both on and off the field.
Girls will showcase their baseball talents and demonstrate to future donors, sponsors and media outlets that girls in baseball is worth their time and money.
