Logano's victory in NASCAR's season-opening Super Bowl event capped a remarkable turnaround for the Middletown, Connecticut, native, who just two years ago lost his dream job with Joe Gibbs Racing after producing less than stellar results.
Looking for answers, Logano was signed by legendary motorsports owner Roger Penske, who took a chance on the young driver in 2013, pairing him with teammate Brad Keselowski, the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.
Logano delivered two consecutive postseason berths and now NASCAR's season-opening Super Bowl event.
Whether NASCAR's young rising star or grizzled veteran or both, one thing is certain: Logano is now a Daytona 500 winner and a 2015 championship contender.
