Mario Ramirez is a reporter and fill-in anchor for the FOX 11 Morning News and Good Day LA. He previously worked for WCPO in Cincinnati, Ohio as a morning reporter. He's covered a wide range of topics from the 2012 Presidential election in the swing state, Major League Baseball playoff coverage, to some of the biggest breaking news stories in the Midwest region.
Mario began his on-air career in 2010 when he was hired as an evening anchor in Macon, GA. Almost three years later he made the jump to Cincinnati and quickly began filling in on the anchor desk, in the traffic department, and in the breaking news center. When he worked overnights he was one of the only local reporters to cover the discovery of three Cleveland girls that had been missing for nearly a decade.
Growing up in Las Vegas, Mario has always been drawn to the west coast. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved west with his family as a little boy. He graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Theatre Arts.
